Kamiya VS Itagaki - Who Makes The Best Action Games? 31/05/2008 | 23:39

DC R1D3R, 31/05/2008 - There can only be one king of the action game genre and in the last few weeks, words have been traded between rival game developers, Tomonobu Itagaki and Hideki Kamiya. In the latest publication of Edge magazine, Kamiya states that since his last game the action genre has become stale and that his upcoming title, Bayonetta, will deliver the type of action only his team, PlatinumGames can provide. In the other corner, Itagaki-san states that Ninja Gaiden 2 is the definitive action game, that only Team Ninja can develope. So the question is, who makes the best action games? Itagaki or Kamiya? Hideki Kamiya Kamiya is responsible for games such as Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe Joe and Okami. Tomonobu Itagaki Itagaki, head of Team Ninja, has brought us the Dead Or Alive series, Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden Black and the new sequel, Ninja Gaiden 2. All of the games mentioned are great in their own right, but which developer do you gamers think delivers the best action overall?

#8 | 02nd Jun, 2008 - 13:27 - Smits360 To me, it's almost the same as having to choose between a banana milkshake and a McFlurry; I like them both, but they're different. If I really HAVE to choose, I would go for the McFlurry, therefore Ninja Gaiden and thus Tomonobu Itagaki!

Omg had more fun with Battletoads than NG Lol, that game really pissed me off. gheghe even more than NG.
