Codemasters: GRID Patch On The Way 02/06/2008 | 10:21

DC R1D3R, 02/06/2008 - If you've been experiencing a few problems (freezing or stuttering) with your copy of GRID, fear not as Codemasters have just announced that a patch that will hopefully eliminate this hitches, is on the way. GRID developer, Gavin Raeburn also offers a bit of advice for all of you affected. Hit jump for the details. "We're close to getting to the root of the problem and we will be including a fix and a backup workaround option (just in case) in our forthcoming patch due within the next few weeks or sooner," said Gavin "Uncle Chewy" Raeburn. "We think the issue is due to specific drive hardware, possibly with bad blocks /sectors. "The best temporary measure is to copy your Gamertag to a memory card, remove the hard drive and run the game that way. Replays and caching will be disabled, though instant replay will still work as this caches to memory." So there you have it guys, keep an eye out for the patch and hopefully these tips will help eradicate these teething problems. News Source: eurogamer.net
